Sole Source Justification Post NAVSUP FLC Norfolk, Hereby gives notice of their intent to award a purchase order to TCI Mechanical, Inc, 44 Dutton Island Rd W, Atlantic Beach, FL 3233 (DUNS Code:14786946) on a Sole Source Basis in accordance with the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 13.106-1 (b)(1)(I), for purchases not exceeding the simplified acquisition threshold, Contracting Officers may solicit from one source if the Contracting Officer determines that the circumstances of the contract deem only one source reasonable available. Market research has revealed this contractor is the only authorized vendor is the OEM and capable of the required supplies. Therefore, the government intend to procure these services on a sole source basis from The Entwistle Company, the sole manufacturer and holder of proprietary rights. THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES. However, all responsible sources may submit a capability statement. Information received will be considered solely for determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination by the government not to compete this requirement based upon responses received as a result of this notice is solely within the discretion of the government.
