The Contractor shall conduct a complete signal mapping of Naval Medical Center Wi-Fi Internet located in NMCP Buildings 1,2, and 3. The Contractor shall not map areas that are not contracted to provide coverage but shall represent such areas with existent or unusably high signal rates. The signal mapping shall include signal rates for both the 2.4GHZ and the 5GHZ Wi-Fi spectrums. Illustrations shall be provided to indicate where signal is strongest with a rate of 40dBm or higher and where signal is weakest with a -75dBm or lower for the NMCP SSID’s and other outlying SSID’s created by Interstate Telecommunication. Signal mapping shall also locate and identify each AP (access point) within a proximity of -35dBm and notate each on the map provided. In addition, the contractor shall provide NMCP with complete radio breakdown for network interference on the 2.4GHz and the 5GHz frequencies. Graphical representation of radio channel overlap will be shown in the form of a heat map as well. The Contractor shall provide a complete package with a description of its finding for each section and a complete abstract to discuss the most pertinent findings. The Contractor will provide NMCP with information on what equipment is needed to improve all weak signal areas identified from the signal heat mapping study. The Contractor will complete the signal heat mapping study within thirty (30) days once contract has been awarded. (FOR MORE INFORMATION PLEASE REFER TO THE PWS IN SECTION C OF THE RFQ)
