Quotes from other than those vendors will not be considered.*** Contractors interested in this solicitation refer to Section C Sailient Chracteristics of RFQ for details concerning access and requirements needed to fulfill solicitation. All responses must be received by Monday March 22, 2021 at 0700 eastern standard time. Questions via telephone are not acceptable. Question and Answers: 3/11/21 Question: Will the Vendor be required to perform any assembly or installation services? Answer: Yes, they must install and provide basic training on how it will work Question: Will the government require any additional support services for the devices? Answer: No Question: Will the devices be standalone? Or would they require network access? Or additional cloud access? Answer: It will be stand alone and down the road, we might need cloud access, but not at this point. Questions and Answers: 3/12/21 Question: What certifications for the device are required? Answer: Assuming this is speaking of network certifications, if so no certifications are required since they are not going on the DOD network at this time. Question: Would email notifications would be a potential future feature and not something required now? Answer: Email notification is not needed for now, neither is data storage but our HIPPA clause will be placed in the contract for any possible patient confidentiality. Question: On Page 4, Item 0001, references a Rapidscreen Plus V3 Standard Temperature Scanner. Please confirm if this is the only Temperature Screening Unit you will accept or will alternates be considered? Answer: No, we are willing to consider like models that have the same or capable abilities and features. Question: What do you mean "4 in 1 stand"? Answer: Basically that it can change height or possibly be mounted etc. The stand can do more than just be a simple pole for the device to sit on. Question: When would the contract be awarded. I ask because I see the delivery date is 02-APR-2021 and the bids are due March 22 at 7:00am. Answer: This is not a concrete date, it is the ideal date it will more than likely be pushed back some depending on bids and processing time. Question: Are any taxes to be included in the pricing? Answer: No taxes will be included, we are the federal government and therefore tax exempt. Questions and Answers 3/18/21 Question 1: We are to install each unit. Will all the units be installed at the Portsmouth, VA facility and will all the locations be ready for installation in one day. Answer: At NMC Portsmouth and it’s outlying clinics. Yes all locations will be ready. Question 2: We are to provide basic training. How many hours should we include? Answer: 4 hours Question 3: What is the submittal process or what link should we use to submit or should we email directly to you? Answer: You may submit your quote via email directly to me or through the BetaSam. Questions and Answers 3/19/21 Question: Do you need a stand or wall mount for each unit? Answer: We require a stand and not mounted.
