PLEASE READ THIS NOTICE CAREFULLY AS IT CONSTITUTES THE ONLY NOTICE THAT WILL BE PUBLISHED. The Department of the Navy (DoN) intends to negotiate a one-time sole source contract with General Electric Medical Systems Information Technology, 9900 Innovation Drive, Wauwatosa, WI 53226-4856, is the sole source provider for the Maintenance of the Physiologic Cardiac Catheterization Monitoring System that meets DON's requirements. The Government intends to negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 13.106 (b)(1)(i). This notice will be distributed solely through the betaSam.gov Website (https://beta.sam.gov/). Interested parties are responsible for monitoring the betaSam site to ensure they have the most up-to-date information about this acquisition. The North American Classification System Code is 811219, the size standard is 22 (millions of dollars). Based on market research conducted and contacts made with knowledgeable individuals within the government it has been determined DON's requirement can only be provided by General Electric Medical Systems Information Technology as they are the sole authority authorized to provide these services. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotations; however, interested parties may identify their interests and capability to respond to this requirement to this office by 12:00 pm, EST, 19 June 2020 by email to the attention of Erin Behrns, Contract Specialist, at erin.m.behrns.civ@mail.mil. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether or not to conduct a competitive procurement. Telephone requests will not be considered. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon response to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
