A notice of intent to sole source synopsis (special notice) will be posted on FBO to notify the public of the Governments intent to make a sole source award for the Biomedical Department at the Naval Medical Center Portsmouth. This sole source award is for a maintenance contract to repair and maintain Life Pulse Ventilators and Patient Boxes that the department has deemed necessary for proper patient care. This award is based upon the OEM as the only certified company who can perform maintenance on this equipment. All work must be performed by OEM certified technicians to ensure patient safety and proper operation. If interested in inquiring about sole source award must be able to provide proof of OEM certifications before any consideration to be made Any deviation from the requirements of this service will increase the risk to the patient and is unacceptable to the Government.
