The Department of the Navy (DoN) intends to negotiate a sole source contract with Laborie Medical Technologies., 400 Avenue D, Williston, VT 05495, is the sole source provider for the following Medical Equipment that meets DON's requirements: Post Manufacturer Warranty Maintenance for the Laborie Aquarius XT Urodynamic Measurement System. The Government intends to negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 13.106 (b)(1)(i). Based on market research conducted and contacts made with knowledgeable individuals within the government it has been determined DON's requirement can only be provided by Laborie Medical Technologies as they are the sole authority authorized to provide these services. It has been verified with the OEM Laborie Medical Technologies that there are no 3rd parties authorized by the OEM to perform maintenance, resell OEM service plans, have software licenses and or capability to provide software updates and repairs as needed. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotations; however, interested parties may identify their interests and capability to respond to this requirement to this office by 5:00 pm, EST, 22 September. 2019 by email to the attention of Christopher Ward, Contract Specialist, at christopher.s.ward1.civ@mail.mil. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether or not to conduct a competitive procurement. Telephone requests will not be considered. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon response to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
