A notice of intent to sole source synopsis (special notice) is being posted on FBO to notify the public of the Governments intent to make a sole source award to Childrens Hospital of Kings Daughters for the Laboratory at Naval Medical Center Portsmouth. This sole source award is for Neonatal Medical Lab Testing that the department has deemed necessary for proper patient care. This award is based upon the attached Justification & Approval.. The tests are very specific to the procedures being performed and are what is required for Laboratory to satisfy its mission at NMCP. Any deviation from the specifications of these products will increase the risk to the patient and is unacceptable to the Government. Sole Source documents are attached to special notice.
