The Department of the Navy (DoN) intends to negotiate a Brand Name Only contract for Haemonetics Blood Supply Products the following Medical Supplies are the only items that will meets DON's requirements: Item No. WBV DBL CPD/AS3 LR 450ML BLOOD DONOR BAGS ITEM No. CPDA-1 WB LR 450ML BLOOD DONOR BAGS The Government intends to negotiate as Brand Name Only under the authority of FAR 13.106 (b)(1)(i). Based on market research conducted and contacts made with knowledgeable individuals within the government it has been determined DON's Brand Name requirement can be provided by Haemonetics Corporation and or Haemonetics Authorized Companies for sale of Haemonetics medical supplies. If offer is being submitted review attached doucmentation and provide information as requested. Any deviation from the specifications of these products will increase the risk to the patient and is unacceptable to the Government. Brand Name Only documentation is attached
