This Synopsis/Request for Information is being posted to satisfy the requirements under Federal Acquisition Regulation 5.201 and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement PGI 206.302-1(d). The Naval Surface Warfare Center Dahlgren Division (NSWCDD) intends to solicit, negotiate, and award a sole source contract under the authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1), FAR 6.302-1 with WR Systems, Inc. for the procurement of QTY 310 Intelligence Broadcast Receivier (IBR) kits. Expected delivery of the awarded kits is 7 months from award/option exercise on an FOB Destination basis. The justification for this contract through other than full and open competition is that WR Systems is the only known source capable of supplying the required IBR Kits. This sources sought notice of itent is posted to both the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) page located at https://beta.sam.gov and the Navy Electronic Commerce On-line (NECO) site located at http:www.neco.navy.mil. While it is understood taht FBO is the single point of entry for posting of synopsis and solicitations to the internet, NECO is the alternative in case FBO is unavailable. Please feel free to access information posted by the Naval Sea Systems Command. This sole source notice is published for informational purposes only and not a request for competitive proposals. However, all responsible sources are encouraged to submit a brief capabilities statement, which, if received by 6 January 2021 at 1630 ET, shall be considered by NSWCDD via e-mail to russell.k.dobson@navy.mil.
