The Naval Surface Warfare Center Dahlgren Division (NSWCDD) intends to solicit, negotiate and award a sole source contract under the authority of 10 USC 2304(c)(1), FAR 6.302-1 with LAUREL TECHNOLOGIES PARTNERSHIP (DRS) for the procurement of the following items: Item(s) Serial/Product No. Quantity PROCESSOR VME CARD LT-2000724 62 VICD, SYNCHRO TO RESOLVER MODULE 8601117-806 12 VICD, VDAD CARD 8601117-824 24 ASSEMLBY, IRIS CARD, DUAL VDAD 8601117-828 12 SMALL PLATFORM, 1-9 SEATS LT-2000511-00 3 Delivery: 32 weeks after award FFP FOB: Destination The justification for this contract through other than full and open competition is that DRS is the only known sources capable of supplying the required IRIS Cards. This sources sought notice of intent is posted to both the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) page located at http://www.fbo.gov and the Navy Electronic Commerce on Line (NECO) site located at http://www.neco.navy.mil. While it is understood that FBO is the single point of entry for posting of synopses and solicitations to the internet, NECO is the alternative in case FBO is unavailable. Please feel free to access information posted by the Navy Sea Systems Command. This is a sole source notice published for informational purposes only and not a request for competitive proposals. However, all responsible sources are encouraged to submit a brief capabilities statement, which, if received by 03 April 2020 at 1:00 PM, ET, shall be considered by NSWCDD via e-mail to kim.carter@navy.mil. THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT ANNOUNCEMENT AND THE GOVERNMENT WILL NOT PROVIDE REIMBURSEMENT OF COSTS ASSOCIATED WITH THE DOCUMENTATION SUBMITTED IN RESPONSE TO THIS ANNOUNCEMENT. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based upon the responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
