Synopsis/Solicitation N0017819R2620 is issued as a Request for Proposal (RFP). The synopsis/solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through the Federal Acquisition Regulation. This requirement is not eligible for small business set-aside. The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division (NSWCDD), intends to procure a Furuno Radar System and supporting accessories on a sole source basis to SSR Engineering, Incorporated. The Furuno Radar System interfaces with existing equipment and capabilities. Substitution of another part will result in damage to personnel and river vessels. SSR Engineering, Incorporated is located in Placentia, CA. Please include shipping/freight cost for FOB destination Dahlgren, VA 22448-5114. Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP) will be utilized for award in accordance with FAR Part 12. The order shall be firm fixed price. All responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation which shall be considered by the agency. At time of proposal submission please submit any historical data as well as published pricing. Award will be made based on Lowest Price Technically Acceptable. In order to be eligible for award, firms must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM). Quote is due 5 June 2019, no later than 3:00 p.m. EST with an anticipated award date by 5 July 2019.
