This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR 12 and 13, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. Synopsis/Solicitation N0017819Q6922 is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). The synopsis/solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through the Federal Acquisition Regulation. This requirement is not eligible for small business set-aside. The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division (NSWCDD), intends to procure on a Brand Name or Equal basis for hardware components manufactured by the following: TW Connectivity, Amphenol, TCC, APC, C2G, Eaton Corp, PNY, Iron Box and Rackmount Solutions for the hardware listed on the attached Requirements List and SF18, Request for Quote. Substitution of another brand part other would result in significant changes and redesign of the system for which this hardware will be used. In order to be considered for an award all quotes must include a reseller or distributor authorization letter, which clearly states that the seller is authorized to sell each of the manufactures products. Failure to provide this information could result in vendors being excluded from consideration. Please include shipping/freight cost to Dahlgren, VA 22448-5114. Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP) will be utilized for award in accordance with FAR Part 12. The order shall be firm fixed price. All responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation which shall be considered by the agency. At time of proposal submission please submit any historical data as well as published pricing. Award will be made based on Lowest Price Technically Acceptable. In order to be eligible for award, firms must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM). Offerors may obtain information on registration in SAM by calling 866-606-8220, or via the Internet at https://www.sam.gov. Quote is due 03 July 2019, no later than 1:00 p.m. EST.
