Synopsis/Solicitation N0017819Q6795 is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). The synopsis/solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through the Federal Acquisition Regulation. This requirement is not eligible for small business set-aside. The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division (NSWCDD) intends to procure on a brand name basis, the following hardware manufactured by Omax Corporation; p/n 307557-14; Kit, Collision Sensing Terrain Follower, 60120 (9AS), Qty 1; p/n 309340-14; Installation, Assy, 60129 (9AS), AF Drill, Qty 1; p/n 304220-1; Assy, Z-AXIS, Tilt-A-Jet, Bridge, Quadrature. No other water jet equipment meets the form/fit/function of this existing OMAX water jet and would require procurement of an entire new water jet system resulting in additional costs of $200,000.00 and 12 months of research. Must be an authorized Omax Corporation reseller to quote. Please include shipping/freight cost to Dahlgren, VA 22448-5114. Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP) will be utilized for award in accordance with FAR Part 12. The order shall be firm fixed price. All responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation which shall be considered by the agency. At time of proposal submission please submit any historical data as well as published pricing. Award will be made based on Lowest Price Technically Acceptable. In order to be eligible for award, firms must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM).
