Rapid Recovery for Shipboard Site Reliability Engineering The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division (NSWCDD) seeks Cooperative Research and Development Agreement (CRADA) Partners that possess the expertise, capabilities, facilities, and experience in the field of Data and Network Engineering. This notice serves as a sources sought synopsis seeking information from companies capable of rapid reconfiguration and recovery for Surface Navy Combat System application. Any company that believes it has the ability to perform research into automated self-healing or other rapid reconfiguration technology approaches for Denied, Disrupted, Intermittent and Limited connection (DDIL) shipboard Combat Systems and associated training to prepare sailors to operate in the SRE paradigm can identify its capabilities by submitting the information to Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division, Chris Morton, Christopher.p.morton2.civ@us.navy.mil and Steven Murphy, Steven.m.murphy.civ@us.navy.mil. The information submitted should include a capabilities statement, management chart and relevant past work in similar areas. A Facility security clearance is required to facilitate future DD254 and personnel security clearance of, at least, secret is required. Responses should be 1-3 pages, not exceeding 3 pages. Responses are requested by 14 August 2023. After reviewing the responses, NSWCDD may request a meeting or facilitate company demonstration of a product with responding companies to gain further insight into their capabilities. NSWCDD is not obligated to hold these meetings with any or all respondents. If NSWCDD decides to meet with a company, it will only meet with those that responded to this notice. NSWCDD will not reimburse costs for participation in these meetings. NSWCDD does not intend to pay for the information received. This is neither a Request for Proposals nor an announcement of a forthcoming solicitation. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of selecting a CRADA Partner having the ability and capability to Partner with NSWCDD.
