The F-35 JPO intends to award a modification to incorporate a one-year extension to contract N00178-14-D-7603/Task Order (TO) 4Y01 for the continuation of Program Management and Administrative and Operations support currently provided by American Electronics, Inc. (Amelex). The proposed action is for supplies and services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of 10 U.S.C.2304(c)(1) and FAR 6.302-1, “Only One Responsible Source and No Other Type of Supplies or Services will Satisfy Agency Requirements.” The extension is required to provide continuing support during the interim period needed to conclude the evaluation phase for the follow-on competitive requirements.
