The Naval Surface Warfare Center Indian Head, MD, intends to award a sole-source, firm-fixed-price contract to MESH, Inc. of Oxford, PA, for maintenance support of Mobile Chemical Agent Detector (MCAD) systems. The work involves troubleshooting, repair, and testing of specific MCAD equipment and peripherals. The justification for a sole-source award is that MESH, Inc. is the original equipment manufacturer and owns the proprietary technology and data for this uniquely designed system. The Government anticipates an award date of May 2026, with a contract term of one base year plus four option years. Performance of services will be for the Naval Surface Warfare Center in Indian Head, Maryland.
