The Naval Surface Warfare Center Indian Head Division (NSWC IHD) has a requirement for a 600 MHz General Nuclear Magnetic Resonance (NMR) System and a 600 MHz Nitrogen NMR System that can collect data rapidly and provide reliable analysis of sensitive samples with minimal manipulation. The contractor shall provide the instruments, installation, PCs, software, training, support and maintenance of the two NMR systems. NSWC IHD intends to award a Firm Fixed Price contract on a sole source basis to Bruker Biospin Corp., located at 15 Fortune Drive, Billerica, MA 01821. The NAICS code is 334516 and the PSC is 6630. THIS IS NOT AN INVITATION FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. This acquisition is being pursued on a sole source basis under the statutory authority of 10 USC 3204(a)(1), as implemented in FAR 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals; however, the Government will consider all responses received to this notice. A determination by the Government not to compete this requirement is solely within the discretion of the Government. No solicitation will be available for this procurement. Information provided herein is subject to change and in no way binds the Government to solicit or award a contract. All responding sources must email their correspondence no later than 3:00 p.m. EST on 19 December 2024 to Bridget Taylor at bridget.m.taylor.civ@us.navy.mil.
