This is not a Request for Quote (RFQ), nor is it construed as a commitment by the Government. The Naval Surface Warfare Center Indian Head Division (NSWC IHD) Indian Head, MD 20640, intends to award a sole source, Cost Plus Fixed Fee (CPFF) contract to support the Navy owned Man Transportable Robotic Systems, Increment TWO (MTRS II) systems. This support will include Configuration Management (CM), Engineering Services Support, Engineering Enhancements, and Depot Services. The intended contract will be awarded on a sole source basis to Teledyne FLIR (CAGE 7KJ69), 19 Alpha Road, Suite 101 Chelmsford, MA 01824-4237. Teledyne FLIR The MTRS II systems procured by the Navy are a Modified Commercial Off the Shelf (MCOTS) version of the Teledyne FLIR Centaur platform and while the system uses a Government developed control software, there is an appreciable amount of proprietary software within the system. Teledyne FLIR is the only qualified vendor capable of fulfilling this requirement. This notice will be posted for 15 days. This requirement is being conducted under Classification Code R425 and NAICS code 541330.
