Pre-solicitation Notice Synopsis Subj: MK 757 Mod 0 Shipping and Storage Containers Classification Code: 2845 NAICS Code: 321920 The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Indian Head Division (NSWC IHD), Contracts Department, Code 02 intends to award a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) Supply contract to provide MK 757 Mod 0 Shipping and Storage Containers for the MK22 Motor at Naval Surface Warfare Center Indian Head Division. The contract will consist of a Base Year and two (2) 12-month options. The Government will require the following: The Contractor shall fabricate, inspect, test, and deliver storage containers in accordance with the applicable drawings in Table 2.0 and specifications. Components shall be packaged by part number and ready for use. Award is expected to be made in September 2022, with deliveries and quantities specified in Table 1.0. Place of performance is at contractor site. Delivery destination is: RECEIVING OFFICER BLDG 116, 4522 MCMAHON RD, SUITE 100, Indian Head, MD 20640-5035. This will be a competitive procurement. NAICS Code (321920); FSC Code 2845. The proposed contract action will be a Firm-Fixed Price (FFP) Supply type contract. The method of Source Selection will be based on Lowest Price Technically Acceptable (LPTA). This synopsis is not a request for competitive proposals. The Request for Proposals (RFP) will be posted on the System for Award Management (SAM) database via the website https://sam.gov/content/home with a projected release of FY22 Quarter 4. THIS SOLICITATION WILL BE AVAILABLE IN ELECTRONIC FORMAT ONLY. Paper copies of the solicitation and amendment(s) will not be provided. Failure to register in SAM makes an offeror ineligible for award of DoD contracts.
