Synopsis for MK70 Ammonium Perchlorate The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Indian Head Division (NSWC IHD) has a requirement for the manufacturing and delivery of Ammonium Perchlorate in accordance with Local Specification MIL-A-82667/2 (3). NSWC IHD intends to award a Firm Fixed Price contract on a sole source basis to American Pacific Corporation, located at 10622 W 6400 N Cedar City, Utah 84721-9016. The NAICS code is 325180 and the PSC is 2845. THIS IS NOT AN INVITATION FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. This acquisition is being pursued on a sole source basis under the statutory authority of 10 USC 3204(a)(1), as implemented in FAR 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals; however, the Government will consider all responses received to this notice. A determination by the Government not to compete this requirement is solely within the discretion of the Government. No solicitation will be available for this procurement. Information provided herein is subject to change and in no way binds the Government to solicit or award a contract. All responding sources must email their correspondence no later than 3:00 p.m. EST on 14 June 2023 to Sara Cooper at sara.j.cooper4.civ@us.navy.mil.
