This notice neither constitutes a Request for Proposal, nor does it restrict the Government from an ultimate acquisition approach. This notice should not be construed as a commitment by the Government for any purpose. Requests for solicitation will not receive a response. All information is to be submitted at no cost or obligation to the U.S. Government. The U.S. Government reserves the right to reject, in whole or in part, any input as a result of this notice. The U.S. Government is not obligated to notify respondents of the results of this notice. If a formal solicitation is generated at a later date, a pre-solicitation notice will be published. No award will be made as a result of this Sources Sought Notice. The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Indian Head Division (NSWC IHD) are currently seeking sources for the manufacture and delivery of a commercial Laser Marking System. The laser maker shall have the capabilites with specific modifications as outlined in the table attached. In responding to this Sources Sought Notice, respondents should provide the following information: • A description of the item(s) that may be offered, should the government pursue procurement of these services, • Past performance in providing the requested and/or similar services, • A description of the respondent's technical and manufacturing capabilities, • Company size (please identify as either Large, Foreign, Small, Small Disadvantaged, 8(a), Woman-Owned Small Business, Historically Underutilized Business Zone concern, Veteran-Owned Small Business, or Service-Disabled Small Business). All interested sources shall also provide the organization name, address, point of contact, phone number, e-mail address, taxpayer identification number, UEI number and/or CAGE Code.
