Synopsis for Wastewater Removal & Treatment The Naval Surface Warfare Center Indian Head Division (NSWC IHD) has a requirement for the removal of wastewater from the Government site and transport to a separate site for treatment. The Contractor shall be capable of transporting and treating wastewater already filtered to remove contaminants to less than 10 ppm. Normal load is around 5 wt. % salts in the wastewater. The composition of the salt (on a dry basis) is listed below. The wastewater is considered regulated non-hazardous waste by the state of Maryland. Wastewater Salt Composition Compound & Quantity Na2CO3 0 to 10 wt. % NaHCO3 0 to 10 wt. % NaNO3 0 to 40 wt. % Na2SO4 0 to 80 wt. % Nitrate ester 10 ppm NSWC IHD intends to compete a Firm Fixed Price contract as a small business set-aside. The NAICS code is 562219 and the PSC code is F103. THIS IS NOT AN INVITATION FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals; however, the Government will consider all responses received to this notice.
