Pre-solicitation Notice Synopsis Subj: Mk 85 Nozzle Assembly Classification Code: 1340 NAICS Code: 332994 The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Indian Head Division (NSWC IHD), Contracts Department, Code 02 intends to award a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) Supply contract to support manufacturing of MK 85 Rocket-Assisted Takeoff Motor (RATO) for assembly in ordnance at Naval Surface Warfare Center Indian Head Division. The contract will consist of a Base Year and two (2) 12-month options. The Government will require the following: The Contractor shall fabricate, inspect, test, and deliver complete Nozzle Assemblies in accordance with the drawing 1638AS302 Rev. B, packaged by part number, and ready for use. The Contractor shall provide or fabricate all the components in Table 1.0 below for each assembly. The Contractor shall provide, design, and fabricate all necessary tooling to manufacture and dimensionally inspect the components, and provide data as detailed herein. Award is expected to be made in FY23 Q4, with deliveries and quantities specified in Table 1.0. Place of performance is at contractor site. This will be a competitive procurement. NAICS Code (332994); PSC Code 1340. The proposed contract action will be a Firm-Fixed Price (FFP) Supply type contract. The method of Source Selection will be based on Lowest Price Technically Acceptable (LPTA). The Request for Proposals (RFP) will be posted on the System for Award Management (SAM) database via the website https://sam.gov/content/home with a projected release of FY23 Quarter 3. THIS SOLICITATION WILL BE AVAILABLE IN ELECTRONIC FORMAT ONLY. Paper copies of the solicitation and amendment(s) will not be provided. Offeror(s) are required to complete their registration in the System for Award Management (SAM) database via the website https://sam.gov/content/home. Failure to register in SAM makes an offeror ineligible for award of DoD contracts.
