The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Indian Head Division (NSWC IHD) requires the of purchase of eight (8) Direct Acting Air presses with standard column and stroke options. All presses shall be equipped with single channel pilot valve pneumatics, force output pre-selector, and ram drift lock valve. Two (2) low force presses shall operate at a force up to 945 lbs. force (Table 1). The remaining six (6) high force shall operate at a force up to 2800 lbs. force with multi-piston selector valve kit allowing for activation/deactivation of press cylinders for lower force operation (Table 2). Additionally, NSWC IHD requires the purchase of two (2) precision x/y nest alignment adaptors that fit into all press bases mentioned above (Table 3). The contractor shall be responsible for the modification, packaging, and delivery of all eight of the direct acting air presses and two nest alignment adapters. Per attached Request for Quote and Statement of Work. NSWC IHD intends to compete a Firm Fixed Price competetive contract. The NAICS code is 333517 and the PSC code is 3442.
