The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Indian Head Division (NSWC IHD) has a requirement for the fabrication, acceptance, inspection, and delivery of the MK 70 Booster Fin Kits in accordance with Assembly Drawing Number ME46195 Rev. E and 1030-5082-002 Rev. A. A single (1) kit shall contain four (4) complete fins as specified in Drawing Number ME46195 Rev. E. NSWC IHD intends to award a Firm Fixed Price contract on a sole source basis to Anderson Metals Industries, Inc., located at 1385 Pittsburgh Road, PO Box 631, Franklin, PA 16323. The NAICS code is 332710 and the PSC is 2845. THIS IS NOT AN INVITATION FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. This acquisition is being pursued on a sole source basis under the statutory authority of 10 USC 3204(a)(1), as implemented in FAR 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals; however, the Government will consider all responses received to this notice. A determination by the Government not to compete this requirement is solely within the discretion of the Government. No solicitation will be available for this procurement.
