The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Indian Head Division (NSWC IHD), intends to award a firm-fixed price (FFP) contract on a competitive basis to the offeror with the lowest price technically acceptable for maintenance, repair, and support services on MKS Airgard Systems. The resultant contract will be a service type contract, with a base period of one (1) year and four (4) option years. The Government anticipates an award date on or before 13 December 2021. The contractor will provide maintenance, repair, and support services on MKS Airgard Systems. Federal Resources Supply Company is the original equipment manufacturer (OEM) of the Airgard systems, with additional sources found upon completion of Market Research. The associated North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 811219. The associated Product Service Code (PSC) is J066. The proposed contract action is for services, for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with full and open competition under the authority of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.401(a)(2), "The award will be made on the basis of price and other price-related factors." Vendors who feel capable of providing the services referenced above shall fully identify their capabilities to provide the stated hardware within ten (10) days after publication of this synopsis.
