A RFQ WILL NOT BE ISSUED AND QUOTES WILL NOT BE REQUESTED. NSWC, IHEODTD Indian Head, intends to award a contract on a noncompetitive basis to Siemens Industry Inc. for the following: -QTY 1 Software Update Service for Process Automation Software -QTY 1 Custom Software Update Services -QTY 5 Field Service Travel and Living Expenses QTY 1 Priority Support - 8am to 5pm, M-F This action is to be undertaken in accordance with FAR 13.106 (b) Soliciting from a single source, on the basis that the vendor is the only known source capable of meeting the government’s requirements. The Siemens process control system at Agile Chemical Facility (ACF) contains proprietary software that can only be updated through Siemen's SIEPRO Technical Service Agreement (TSA). This procurement action will provide the TSA required to receive annual proprietary software updates and technical servicing for the ACF automation system. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) for this requirement is 334419 - Other Electronic Component Manufacturing This Notice of Intent is not a request for quotes. Information received from interested parties will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Responses to this electronic notice must be made by 8:00 am EST on 12 May 2020. Oral communications are not acceptable in response to this notice.
