A RFQ WILL NOT BE ISSUED AND QUOTES WILL NOT BE REQUESTED. NSWC, IHEODTD Indian Head, intends to award a contract on a noncompetitive basis to Tactical & Survival Specialties Inc for the following: -QTY 2 EOD Disposal Kits This action is to be undertaken in accordance with FAR 13.106 (b) Soliciting from a single source, on the basis that the vendor is the only known source capable of meeting the government’s requirements. Representatives of the JOEP Quick Reaction Force specifically requested the equipment. NSWC IHEODTD conducted market research and TSSi is the sole manufacturer of the equipment. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) for this requirement is 332994 - Small Arms, Ordnance, and Ordnance Accessories Manufacturing This Notice of Intent is not a request for quotes. Information received from interested parties will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Responses to this electronic notice must be made by 3:00 p.m. EST on 18 February 2020. Oral communications are not acceptable in response to this notice.
