Liquid Crystal Display (LCD) with an Infrared Touch User Interface This is a Sources Sought Synopsis. This synopsis neither constitutes a Request for Proposal, nor does it restrict the Government from an ultimate acquisition approach. This synopsis should not be construed as a commitment by the Government for any purpose. Requests for solicitation will not receive a response. All information is to be submitted at no cost or obligation to the U.S. Government. The U.S. Government reserves the right to reject, in whole or in part, any input as a result of this market survey. The U.S. Government is not obligated to notify respondents of the results of this survey. If a formal solicitation is generated at a later date, a solicitation notice will be published. No award will be made as a result of this market survey. The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Indian Head Explosive Ordnance Disposal Technology Division, Picatinny Detachment is seeking potential sources and pricing for an LCD with an infrared touch user interface. The LCD with an infrared touch user interface must meet all requirements specified in the Department of the Navy drawing number: 7251886. The LCD Panel shall be 15.0 inches diagonal and capable of displaying 640 X 480 resolution video with 256 colors and 1024 X 768 resolution video with 16 million colors at 60 HZ with no flicker. It will include bezel push buttons for turning the display On/Off and for adjusting the brightness. The input voltage shall be 20 to 28 VDC with a maximum power of 60 W. The above mentioned drawing is International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) controlled and contains Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI). To receive this unclassified controlled technical information, all interested sources must be currently certified through the United States/Canada Joint Certification Program. To become certified for receipt of the technical documents, all interested sources must submit a completed DD Form 2345 to the U.S./Canada Joint Certification Office. Interested Canadian sources may submit either a completed DD Form 2345 or DSS-MAS 9379 for certification. In addition, a copy of the company's State/Provincial Business License, Incorporation Certificate, sales Tax Identification Form or other documentation which verifies the legitimacy of the company must accompany all DD Form 2345s. Additional information on the Joint Certification Program and a checklist for completion of the DD Form 2345 is available at the following website: http://www.dla.mil/HQ/InformationOperations/Offers/Products/LogisticsApplications/JCP/. All interested sources shall provide a company brochure or list of specifications, organization name, address, a point of contact, phone number, fax number, e-mail address, business size, taxpayer identification number, DUNS number, and CAGE Code. Interested sources must request the drawing package in writing.
