The Naval Sea Systems Command intends to award a modification to Contract N00174-18-C-0015 for professional support services in the areas of program management, administrative support, surface ship modernization, inactive ships, surface ships readiness, surface training systems, business and financial management, records management, and Information Technology (IT) support for SEA21 at NAVSEA HQ. The estimated period of performance of this contract action is December 2020 through March 2021 with an option to extend to April 2021. Pursuant to 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1), the Government intends to award this contract modification on a sole source basis to Serco-IPS Corporation of Herndon, VA. Serco is currently performing the services under NAVSEA Contract N00174-18-C-0015. Therefore, it is the only firm with the requisite expertise, experience, and knowledge capable of satisfying the Governments requirements within the requisite schedule. The proposed contract action is for services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under authority of FAR 6.302.
