The Naval Sea Systems Command, Naval Surface Warfare Center, Indian Head Division – Picatinny Detachment (NSWC IHD), Contracts Department, Code 02, has a requirement to procure the 20 MM Plastic Dummy Rounds, M51A4N with MK7 Links using the Government (USG) Technical Data Package (TDP) entitled ADL 53711- 8563566 in accordance with the effort described in the Statement of Work (SOW), Section C. The M51A4N 20mm Plastic Dummy Cartridge is planned for use with the Navy’s Close-In Weapon System (CIWS), which is the 20mm anti-missile defense system. The M51A4N is used for weighting, balancing, gun checks, and dry cycling of the CIWS during ship install verification. See attached RFP for further details on submitting a proposal. The manufacture of these cartridges includes components, assembly and packaging. Contractor test capabilities for conducting First Article and Lot Acceptance testing of the cartridge are desired.
