Acquisition for Military Systems and Components This is a Sources Sought Notice. This notice neither constitutes a Request for Proposal, nor does it restrict the Government from an ultimate acquisition approach. This notice should not be construed as a commitment by the Government for any purpose. Requests for solicitation will not receive a response. All information is to be submitted at no cost or obligation to the U.S. Government. The U.S. Government reserves the right to reject, in whole or in part, any input as a result of this notice. The U.S. Government is not obligated to notify respondents of the results of this notice. If a formal solicitation is generated at a later date, a pre-solicitation notice will be published. No award will be made as a result of this Sources Sought Notice. The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Indian Head Explosive Ordnance Disposal Technology Division (NSWCIHEODTD), is seeking potential sources who are capable of providing support for authentic weapons systems, weapons systems components, manufacturing equipment for weapons systems components (including but not limited to additive manufacturing equipment, and component/system test equipment), and also for technical expertise in development and testing of weapons and weapons systems as specified in the attached DRAFT Statement of Work. All interested sources shall provide the organization name, address, a point of contact, phone number, e-mail address, business size, taxpayer identification number, DUNS number. Please identify your Company’s CAGE Code, and if applicable, small business size status. In addition, all interested sources shall provide a summary of their company’s capabilities to provide the support as required in the Statement of Work. All responding sources must email their submission to Karen Tindley-Smith at karen.tindley-smith@navy.mil, and CC to: timothy.hennessey@navy.mil. Replies must be received no later than October 08, 2020. Technical questions regarding this Source Sought may be directed to the two individuals cc’d above.
