This synopsis should not be construed as a commitment by the Government for any purpose. Requests for solicitation will not receive a response. All information is to be submitted at no cost or obligation to the U.S. Government. The U.S. Government reserves the right to reject, in whole or in part, any input as a result of this market survey. The U.S. Government is not obligated to notify respondents of the results of this survey. If a formal solicitation is generated at a later date, a solicitation notice will be published. No award will be made because of this market survey. The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Indian Head Explosive Ordnance Disposal Technology Division is seeking potential sources and pricing for ETHYL CELLULOSE INHIBITING TAPE: •· NAVAIR Drawing 233AS139 •· Detail Specification WS 35802 The Contractor would provide all necessary material and services required to manufacture, inspect, package, and ship Ethyl Cellulose Inhibiting Tape that satisfies all requirements listed in material specification WS 35802 along with additional requirements. The contract may have a 12-month base year with four (4) 12-month option years. The inhibiting tape would be manufactured for use as the peripheral inhibiting wrap for rocket propellant grains (Double Base type). These items must meet all requirements specified in the Department of the Navy drawing number with which it is associated. The above drawings are unclassified controlled technical information (CUI) assigned a restricted distribution statement. To receive this CUI, interested sources must be registered in the System for Award Management database located at www.sam.gov. Once registered, interested sources can request the above drawings in writing. Additionally, interested sources shall indicate the timeframe for which they could provide firm fixed prices for an estimated quantity of (See Matrix) Ethyl Cellulose Inhibiting Tape, i.e., one year, two years, etc. The Government desires firm fixed prices for a base year and four, one year options. If firm fixed prices cannot be provided for the desired timeframe, interested sources shall include an explanation.
