The MK 85 Nozzle is an item designed as an outlet for the rocket motor. The nozzle body is made of steel, SAE 4130 per SAE AMS 6370, hardness RS 20-30. The Weather Seal is made of aluminum and Mylar. The nozzle must be manufactured in accordance to the drawings and all applicable documents. The contractor who is awarded the contract will purchase the material, fabricate, perform in-process inspection, acceptance tests, and package nozzles.
