The Naval Research Laboratory seeks engineering and technical support for the design, development, implementation, modification, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of specialized research and development equipment. The work includes antenna systems, RF/microwave/network transmission, electrical/mechanical/control systems, precision fabrication, radome/HVAC/environmental control, backup power, telecom/CCTV, preventive and corrective maintenance, testing, calibration, documentation, and configuration management. Performance is at the NRL Code 8124 Pomonkey Facility in La Plata, Maryland, and an associated OCONUS facility. The government anticipates a purchase order with firm-fixed-price labor CLINs plus cost-no-fee CLINs for materials and travel, with a 12-month base period and four 12-month option periods.
