The Naval Research Laboratory has a requirement for an complete Vector Network Analyzer (VNA) solution for the THz characterization of Anti-ferromagnetic materials. The tool shall consist of a base module with a minimum of two ports, covering the frequency range from 10MHz to 43.5GHz. This base module shall be able to measure the S-parameters in this frequency range. Furthermore, it should be capable of doing spectrum analysis, time domain mode and pulse generation/detection mode. Additionally, this unit shall consist of frequency up and down convertors to measure the S-parameters in the frequency range of 750 GHz to 1100 GHz.
