The Naval Research Laboratory (NRL) intends to award a firm-fixed-price contract on a sole-source basis to Midwest Microwave Solutions, LLC for its XRE-26G-4-IND four-channel 26 GHz wideband digital receivers, WRX-40G-1000t-EC ultra-wideband 40 GHz microwave digital receivers, and WRX-26G-2000 ultra-wideband 26 GHz microwave digital receivers, stating no other company can meet the required salient characteristics. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals and does not constitute a solicitation, but interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond or submit quotations. The Government will consider capability statements received and may use them solely to determine whether to conduct a competitive procurement, with any decision not to compete solely at its discretion. Interested organizations should provide business name/address, representative name/title/email, POC phone/address/email, business size and small-business type if applicable, CAGE code, UEI number, and a capabilities statement of no more than five pages demonstrating ability and, if applicable, past performance on similar work.
