Timed Emitters Transmitting Highly Energized Radiation (TETHER)
NRL’s Space Systems Development Division seeks industry information on capabilities for research, development, prototyping, test, and integration supporting the TETHER effort, a follow-on to the TAPE program. The work aims to advance high-precision timing and frequency technologies to femtosecond-level accuracy using large apertures, complex clock ensembles, and associated RF/IR systems for Navy and Department of War mission requirements. Performance may occur at NRL facilities, Government field sites, Contractor facilities, or other CONUS/OCONUS locations as required, with prior Contracting Officer approval for additional locations. Interested parties are requested to submit a Capabilities Statement of up to 10 pages excluding the cover page, covering business and POC details, business size, CAGE/UEI, and a narrative with relevant past performance. This RFI is for informational and planning purposes only, does not constitute a solicitation or binding contract, and may inform a small business set-aside decision.
