The Naval Research Laboratory is searching for potential sources that are capable of meeting the requirement described in the attached Specifications for Heavy Duty 4U Aluminum Rackmount Workstation. The intent of this Sources Sought Notice (SSN) is to: a. Determine if an adequate number of qualified, interested contractors capable of performing the work further described in the attached draft Specifications exist; and b. Determine if the contractor can meet the required specifications NRL asks that the interested parties, at a minimum, supply the following information: a. Name of Company and Point of Contact (POC) with associated contact information b. Business Size/Socioeconomic Category for the identified NAICS c. Unique Entity ID and/or CAGE Code d. Capabilities Statement detailing the specific hardware set that meets the Government’s provided Specifications. Clearly identify the items by brand name (if any), make or model number, and include any descriptive literature such as illustrations, drawings, or a clear reference to previously furnished descriptive data or information. e. Any questions/suggestions related to this procurement f. Whether the proposed item would be considered a commercial item in accordance with FAR 2.101 Responses should be no more than 30 pages, and should be emailed to the Contract Specialist at tamara.jenkins@nrl.navy.mil.
