The Naval Research Laboratory (NRL) has a requirement for solid-state Radio Frequency (RF) amplifiers for performing lab measurements of RF solid-state device components and circuits.The amplifiers must have integrated protection circuitry and pass typical ageing and burn-in testing. All amplifiers must come with at least a 2-year warranty, have variable gain adjustment, and readable display presenting operation status to include self-check of critical components. All specifications must be met across the entire specified frequency range. The amplifiers must be standard commercial products with demonstrated field use.
