NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE This Notice of Intent is not a request for competitive proposals. This is not a solicitation or request for offers. No solicitation package is available and telephone requests will not be honored. Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. The Naval Research Laboratory (NRL) intends to award a sole source purchase order to SEMTech Solutions for the procurement of 100 kV Electron Beam Lithography System. This purchase will be made utilizing Simplified Procedures for Certain Commercial Products and Commercial Service. Interested parties may identify their interests and capability to respond to this requirement within three (3) calendar days of the publication of this notice. Any response to this notice must show clear and convincing evidence that competition would be advantageous to the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether or not to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed purchase order based upon response to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Please reference this Notice of Intent number on your correspondence and in the “Subject” line of your email. __________________________________ Title: 100 kV Electron Beam Lithography System OBJECTIVE The Naval Research Laboratory (NRL) is searching for a 100 kV Electron Beam Lithography (EBL) system to be installed by the contractor at the Naval Research Laboratory (NRL), Washington, DC. The 100 kV EBL system will be placed in a multi-user class 100 cleanroom facility and must provide ease of operation and safety to those in the facility. NOTE: THIS IS NOT A SOLICITATION. This is a sources sought notice for information and planning purposes only, and is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government, nor will the Government pay for information solicited. No evaluation letters and/or results will be issued to the respondents. The Government is not committed to awarding a contract or issuing a solicitation pursuant to this announcement. No solicitation package is available at this time.
