This is a presolicitation notice, therefore, no response is required at this time. The U.S. Naval Research Laboratory (NRL) intends to issue a Request for Proposal (RFP) for the requirement entitled,"Electronic and Optoelectronic Research for the Electronics Science and Technology Division” on or about April 26, 2023.. The Naval Research Laboratory (NRL) has a requirement to produce novel electronic devices having advanced properties and capabilities,and to transition these devices to the warfighter. This is achieved through coordinated modeling, simulation, and design efforts to produce new device designs. This acquisition will be solicited in accoradance with the procedures of FAR Subpart 6.1, Full and Open Competition . The North American Industry Classification Systems Code (NAICS) for this e?ort is 541715 - Research and Development in the Physical, Engineering, and Life Sciences (except Nanotechnology and Biotechnology), which has a size standard of 1000 Employees. NRL will use the competitive procedures established under FAR Part 15 and DFARS Part 215 for this competitive acquisition. NRL intends to award a single Cost-Plus-Fixed-Fee (CPFF) Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract to fulfill this requirement. The anticipated Period of Performance for this contract is a five year ordering period.. The RFP will be posted to this sam.gov website on or about April 26, 2023. All responsible business sources may submit a proposal in response to the RFP.
