Presolicitation Notice Solicitation Number: N00173-23-R-CY15 The U.S. Naval Research Laboratory (NRL) intends to issue a Request for Proposal (RFP) for the requirement entitled "Advanced R&D Support for Modeling and Design of Vacuum Electronic Devices". The requirement of NRL’s Electromagnetic Technology Branch is to conduct research and development programs in vacuum electronics and related technologies that support Navy and DoD interests and capabilities in the full range of electronic combat functions. This acquisition will be solicited and awarded on a full and open competition basis in accordance with procedures established under FAR Part 15. NRL intends to issue a Cost and Cost Plus Fixed Fee (CPFF) contract, with a base Period of Performance (PoP) of twelve months from the date of contract award, plus two (2) twelve month option periods. The North American Industry Classification Systems Code (NAICS) for this effort is 541715 - Research and Development in the Physical, Engineering, and Life Sciences (except Nanotechnology and Biotechnology), which has a size standard of 1000 Employees. The RFP will be posted to this SAM.gov website on or about 10 July 2023. All Offerors must be registered with the System for Award Management (SAM) in accordance with FAR and DFARS requirements.
