The U.S. Naval Research Laboratory (NRL) Code 6127 has a requirement for a commercially available High Temperature Furnace System capable of heat treatments up to 2900? for evaluation of high temperature polymeric materials and ceramics under extreme environments. The high temperature furnace system capable of heating to 2900? is a critical tool that alters material properties of samples for applications where extreme temperatures are experienced. The current capabilities in the Materials Chemistry and Dynamics Branch consist of routine furnaces that are limited in the thermal ranges (<1700?). Complete list of Minimum especifications enclosed.
