The Naval Research Laboratory (NRL) at Washington DC has a need to replace a Well Irradiator System – including the radioactive sources. Well Irradiator System is required to be capable of performing calibrations in accordance with (IAW) the standards set forth National Council on Radiation Protection and Measurements Report No.112 – Calibration of Survey Instruments Used in Radiation Protection for the Assessment of Ionizing Radiation Fields and Radioactive Surface Contamination, ANSI N42.17A – Performance Specifications for Health Physics Instrumentation - Portable Instrumentation for Use in Normal Environmental Conditions, and ANSI N323 – Radiation Protection Instrumentation Test and Calibration. Please review the attached RFQ and associated documents for submission guidance. This combined synopsis/solicitation IAW FAR 12.6 is being solicited as a Total Small Business Set-Aside. PSC 6640 and NAICS 334517 (applicable size standard is 1,000 employees). Please review the site visit instructions in section B of the attached RFQ.
