This is a Notice of Intent to award a sole source contract to Assurance Technologies Corporation for Research and Development support services in support of the Jamesburg Acquisitional Signal Production Emitting Radar (JASPER). This notice is being published by NRL in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Par 5.201 requiring notice of a proposed contract action. The statutory authority for this sole source action is 41 U.S.C. 3304(a)(1) as implemented by FAR 6.302-1. The contemplated contract will be a Cost Plus Fixed Fee (CPFF) type action. This notice is NOT a request for proposals or competitive offers. However, the Government shall consider all responses received within fifteen (15) days of this posting. Interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement. A Statement of Work is attached to this notice. A determination by the Government to compete, or not, will be based on the responses received, and is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered only for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. NRL is not responsible for any costs incurred by interested parties in responding to this notice. Only submissions to the contracting office POC shall be considered.
