Amendment 0005 - The purpose of this amendment is to add FAR clause 52.232-16 Progress Payments (Nov 2021), DFARS clause 252.232-7004 DOD Progress Payment Rates (Oct 2014) to Section I, and FAR provision 52.232-13 Notice of Progress Payments (Apr 1984) to Section K to allow progress payments. Amendment 0004 - The purpose of this amendment is to update Attachment 13 - GFI to include additional attachments from previous amendments and to add three additional files with the firmware for the base unit, probe, and SNAP cable. All firmware will be provide via DOD SAFE upon request by potential offerors. Amendment 0003 - The purpose of this amendment is to include additional drawings, post final Questions and Answers, and extend the due date for proposals until 2:00 PM PDT 10 October 2024. Amendment 0002 - The purpose of this amendment is to answer questions received during the Question and Answer period and add additional attachments to Section J of the solicitation. Amendment 0001 - The purpose of this amendment is to correct a typographical error of the legacy probe number in the description of the solicitation announcement to DT-304/PDR. No other changes were made. Naval Surface Warfare Center, Carderock Division (NSWCCD) has a requirement for compatible interface cables to connect the legacy Thermo Fisher Scientific Frisker Probe, DT-304/PDR, to the new Radiological Detection System (RDS). NSWCCD intends to award a Single Award Firm Fixed Price (FFP) Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract with a five-year ordering period to fulfill this requirement. This solicitation is issued electronically via PIEE. Offerors must be registered in System for Award Management (SAM) at https://www.sam.gov and in PIEE at https://piee.eb.mil to participate in this procurement. This posting does not include all relevant Section J attachments. Naval Surface Warfare Center Carderock Division (NSWCCD) intends to award a Single Award Firm Fixed Price (FFP) Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) Contract for compatible interface cables to connect the legacy Thermo-Fisher Scientific Frisker Probe, ET-204/PDR to the new Radiological Detection System (RDS). As a result of the responses received from the Sources Sought Notice N00167-24-RFPREQ-CD-63-0029 for RDS and Legacy Probes Interface Cables posted on SAM.gov on 23 February 2024, this requirement will be solicited as a full and open competition. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 334519 with a small business size standard of 600 employees. The anticipated ordering period will span five (5) years from contract award. It is anticipated that the Request for Proposal (RFP) will be issued on or around 8 August 2024. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which shall be considered by the agency. This presolicitation notice is for informational purposes only and shall not be construed as a commitment by the Government to solicit contractual offers or award contracts.
