Naval Surface Warfare, Carderock Division (NSWCCD), Code 617 is looking for a BPA to continue the transition of composite sunshields for US Navy, US Army, US Coast Guard, and Military Sealift Command Ship Classes which will require the development of new configurations of composite sunshields as well as the purchase of the sunshields themselves to support transition to the various fleets. Ready service lockers are not standard sizes and require the development of many different versions of composite sunshields to support form, fit and function replacement of the metal sunshields.
