The NAICS code is 334519 and the business size is 600 employees. The proposed purchase order is being solicited on a brand name basis. The proposed action is for Hach Orbisphere equipment, for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with compliant products pursuant to FAR 6.302-1(a)(2)(ii). The basis for restricting competition is for the following reasons: Hatch is the only compliant manufacturer, with no valid alternatives. The NSWCCD intends to award a firm fixed-price purchase order using Simplified Acquisition Procedures.
