Naval Surface Warfare Center Carderock Division (NSWCCD) intends to award a firm fixed price (FFP) purchase order using Simplified Acquisition Procedures under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b) the Contracting Officer has determined only one brand to be reasonably available. The Government intends to solicit for: MacArtney brand undersea electrical-optical-mechanical (EOM) cable and supporting equipment, as detailed in the attached solicitation. This solicitation is a brand name, small business set-aside (justification attached). This announcement constitutes the only solicitation and a written solicitation will not be issued.
